Skippy’s ideal home

Skippy is a loving but sensitive boy who is looking for a quieter home with patient and understanding owners. Due to his sensitive side he will need owners who are willing to do some fun and positive training with him. In his new home Skippy would love to have his own safe space where he can go whilst he is eating and when his owners are preparing or eating food. Skippy isn’t particularly comfortable around other dogs so would like to be walked and exercised in low dog populated areas so he can relax and explore. Skippy will need to wear a muzzle and be walked on lead when out in public places. For this reason he would really love his own secure garden to run and play in.

Skippy is a sweet, brindle 3 year old Lurcher. He is looking for a home with a maximum of 2 adults. He will need to be the only pet in the home. Skippy is a worried boy initially, but once he gets to know you he loves having a fuss. He’s a playful chap who really enjoys his toys. If you are shortlisted for Skippy please be aware a meet will be arranged at the centre within 48 hours and your new family member may be home with you within 7 days.

If you and the dog seem well suited, we may arrange a virtual home check or an appointment for you to come and meet them at the centre.

If we mutually decide you’re a perfect match, we’ll arrange an appointment for you to take them to their forever home.

Supporting you

We’ll keep in touch to see how you and the dog are doing. If you need any advice or support, we’re just a phone call away or you can browse our dog advice section.
