Riley is an 8-year-old lurcher who has progressed amazingly during his stay here at Salisbury. He has gained lots of confidence around other dogs and now has some off-lead play friends and walking buddies. In the home, Riley will need to live in a quieter area where he can continue his doggy socialisation and be the only pet within the household. Additionally, Riley would love patient owners who will be able to continue his training and help him gain confidence in new environments and to build up his time he can be left alone. Riley now has lots of handlers here at Salisbury and has been making plenty of friends with our lovely volunteers by going on nice long walks and using some tasty meaty treats. Once Riley gets to know you, his goofy personality shines through and has become a favourite walking campaign with the volunteers. During these walks, Riley has been impressing staff with his housetraining and this is something that he will need to continue training in the home.
